Flatlands and hillside

Some people are given flatlands
with their wide visibility all around,

their peacefully meandering
rivers

And some have to live with
hills and valleys

Some with towering cliffs
like Himalayas

and gaping chasms,
narrow gorges

through which shoots
the water of life
