This is probably why they say anticipation is 90% of the event. Once the event arrives, it is so quickly done! Better to enjoy those moments where time seems to languish and drag out endlessly… find joy in all the little details and sensations of these times… because before you know it, they’ll just be memories, and how rich those memories are depends entirely on how much attention we were paying when we had the chance.
