What it is

Niebla is a collection that may initially appear to be nebulous, mysterious and contourless. Niebla’s originator intends to post here regardless of any potential audience, exposure or materialistic interest, with the ultimate objective of having emerge from the fog a rich and multi-faceted world view that reflects the richness of our existence as we are aware of it now.

Back to the audience issue:
It is frustrating for someone who is a writer (with the occasional doubts and feelings of inferiority to the Dan Browns and Harriett Potters of this world) to “publish” and not get read.

Getting read (or rather: skimmed) for the wrong reasons, e.g. clever Google shenanigans or marketing-savvy tag placement, hardly seems a solution when it comes right down to it. Because it is dishonest and will not provide an audience of readers. Getting someone to come visit, glance at what you have to offer and then leave in disappointment or disgust can’t possibly be the end of it, right?

So here we go: a site that vows to remain honest and to maintain its integrity.

I’ll take every view as encouragement to proceed.

Signed,

Niebla

yes, keep going, definitely. don’t stop. it’s important. i don’t know why but it is. someone has to knit the world back together after its daily unraveling.

I was fascinated by your imagination. The sanctity of your quest is contageous. You elicit hope and solace to a tormented soul. Your words are seemingly distilled as if they were the eternal fragrance hidden through many lives. You are secure in this sacred adventure as many serene souls will vibe with you.

First time, when I went through your blog, really it appeared to me mysterious. I have to concentrate hard to see what my mind will tell me when it will read the words of your writings. But the feeling felt was really good, when the words spoke! Thanks and really it is nice to go through a site, that vows to remain honest. Keep going….

    Good Luck!
    Bless You!

    A curious concept: honest publishing!
But as someone who’s felt manipulated by the bestsellers, it’s one I like.
    good luck!

  6. I admire you for the integrity you wish to uphold here. True, it’s a sad thing that sometimes everybody seems to be writing or promoting something, and nobody’s really reading with real interest. I hope I could read like that, I look forward to more of your writings! 😉
